After the old seal is pulled off and the old residue has been cleaned off, you'll then just need to install the new seal.

You will need to determine what spindles you have on your trailer axle. I've attached a photo along with locations to measure your spindle for proper fit using a caliper like # PTW80157 for best accuracy. You can also pull the bearings and get the numbers off the face of the inner and outer bearing to determine what brake hub will be a good fit. If there is not a brake flange on your axle, one will need to be welded on.

I do have a solution for you to use a cargo carrier on your Jayco TT but unfortunately all of our cargo carriers are for use with trailer hitch receivers.
If you would like to go ahead and install a trailer hitch then I recommend going with Curt # C13701 or # C13702.
